Health Justice: Engaging Critical Perspectives in Health Law and Policy

What does health justice mean? How does health justice relate to other frameworks for advocacy, teaching, research, and scholarship? And how should the community be involved in efforts to realize health justice?

Scholars, advocates, and activists will reflect on these questions for the Petrie-Flom Center’s latest digital symposium, which is guest edited by Ruqaiijah Yearby and Lindsay F. Wiley.

The Health Justice Symposium is presented in partnership with the American University Washington College of Law Health Law and Policy Program, the St. Louis University Institute for Healing Justice and Equity, the Satcher Health Leadership Institute at Morehouse School of Medicine, and ChangeLab Solutions as part of Health Justice: Engaging Critical Perspectives in Health Law & Policy, an initiative launched in 2020 with a series of workshops in July through September 2020 and an online conference in October 2020.
